CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist

This hybrid role combines hands-on expertise in Mautic with multichannel Campaigns and Customer Success coordination across clients, internal developers, and the CEO. You will be responsible for both managing technical marketing campaigns and delivering day-to-day value for our managed deliverability and profit-optimized ESP offerings.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and maintain the Mautic stack — installations, upgrades, plugins, and security.
* Audit and tune server cronjobs via SSH in collaboration with Dev-OPS (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups).
* Manage triggers and messaging workers.
* Query engagement data from Amazon Athena (SQL) to validate KPIs and generate insight reports, coordinating with Dev-OPS.
* Monitor email deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, and MXToolBox to ensure inbox placement rates are high.

Customer Success & Coordination

* Serve as the primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule meetings, gather requirements, create tickets, and track SLAs.
* Coordinate hand-offs between the development team, CEO, project managers, and clients, ensuring clarity on expectations, blockers, and timelines.
* Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
* Collect feedback and translate it into backlog items or optimization ideas.

Project Prioritization & Growth

* Co-manage JIRA boards with the CEO, prioritizing tasks to maximize ROI.
* Conduct experiments such as subject-line tests and new segment roll-outs to measure impact.
* Identify and scope new customer prospects fitting our large-scale email volume profile.
* Require 2-4 years experience in CRM/Marketing Automation and at least 1 year as a primary Mautic owner.
* Proficiency in SQL (Amazon Athena), Linux CLI, and scripting, with AI tools assistance acceptable.
* Ability to explain technical concepts like DNS, DKIM to marketers and roadmap trade-offs to executives.
* Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a 'definition of done' mindset.
* Emphasize continuous improvement, lean resource utilization, and mastery of AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot.
* Bonus skills include experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable.
* Aligns with Amazon Leadership Principles.

Technologies include Mautic v5.2.3+ (Orion), SparkPost, Amazon SES, qMail, AWS S3, Athena, Tableau, AWS Infra, Contabo, Airflow, Ubuntu 22, CloudWatch, Bitbucket/GitHub, and tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, MXToolBox, HetrixTools, EmailOnAcid, ChatGPT, and other LLMs.

Celebrate achievements such as creating new sending domains, managing customer success for key clients, and autonomously handling multiple clients with minimal intervention. Demonstrate proactive sourcing and scoping of new customers.
