Description of the job:A vacancy for a Demand Planner and Inventory Management has arisen within Airbus. The successful applicant will join Inventory management and Demand Planning (transport perimeter)Task & accountabilities:The jobholder is responsible for the operation and monitoring of Airbus Defence and Space Customer Services Inventories related to the integrated support of the customer’s fleet, as follows:- Manage and monitor stock levels for Military Transport Aircrafts- Optimizing Service levels vs Stock investment- Optimizing work processes- Assessing and proposing improvements of different factors that have a direct influence on inventory Stocks in relationship with related areas (Procurement, Customer order Desk, etc)- Monitoring configuration and applicability of stock spares, as well as technical analysis of embodiments and interchangeabilities, with support of other areas (Engineering...)- Reduction of non-quality cost (scrap of limited life items such as consumables, etc)- Monitor and coordinate supply chain, assigning corrective and preventive actions in cooperation with related areas (procurement, etc)- Monitor and Ensure stock level alignment with approved OP.- Challenge the state of the art in order to bring Business Transformation proposalsAt Airbus, we support you to work, connect and collaborate more easily and flexibly.
