Summary of the role
New technology leader, moulding, is accountable for the deployment and technical performance of the new technology solutions for our blade moulding processes. Those new technologies are, but not limited to, laser projection, ply positioning and automated infusion systems. This position is as well accountable for the adherence of those technologies to our approved working instruction and manufacturing processes, as well as will serve as main technical point of contact (POC) between our suppliers and the Wind Manufacturing organization.

Main deliverables for this position are:
· Execution of general implementation roadmap for new technologies in mloulding
· Adherence of new technologies to manufacturing processes
· Supplier relations - technical

Profile
· Mandatory:
o Mobility: very high. Able to travel to all blade plants and stay for long periods (4-8 weeks in a row) if needed
o Deep knowledge of new technology solutions for blade moulding processes and experience in blade manufacturing
o Background: Operations, Quality, Engineering, Lean
o Project management knowledge and experience
o Engineer degree or similar. Able to understand/implement advanced technology (automation, vision systems, AI systems, etc)
o Ability to work with multicultural teams
· Desirable:
o Physical location allowing good interaction with American, European and Asian site teams (time zones)
o SW engineering knowledge
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
