**The Role**
We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and inspirational Major Account Manager to lead, grow and develop our relationship within the Enterprise market across the Iberia region creating long-term, trusting relationships with our customers.
Reporting to the Sales Leader for South Europe, the Major Account Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining a portfolio of assigned Customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Whilst working in conjunction with Marketing, Engineering and our Channel team, he will be responsible for Enterprise growth in Spain & Portugal.
Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports.
The role may be located anywhere in Spain.
**What you will do**
- Positioning and selling Juniper products and solutions to a set of selected enterprise accounts. This will involve close interworking with the channel organization in country and with the wider team across EMEA.
- Position end-to-end solutions and articulate Juniper strategies to senior management in the account.
- Educate client sales teams about relevant Juniper solutions and selling them the benefits of the Juniper partnership.
- Develop sales strategies for target markets including account targeting, goal setting, messaging, marketing programs etc.
- Forecasting, lead and opportunity management and reporting.
- Engage with all customer functions involved in or influencing Juniper business developments up to Senior Executive level
- Negotiate contracts / and close agreements to maximize profits
**The experience we would like you to have**
- Broad-based technological awareness, complemented by knowledge of networking solutions, routing, switching and security concepts/products within the networking arena.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- A proven track record of success (5+ years) selling to enterprise accounts directly or via partners (including service providers).
- 5+ years’ experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and presenting networking, security, or related high-tech solutions.
- Demonstrable strong communication, presentation, negotiation and closing skills and using a win/win philosophy.
- The ability to articulate success record and define how a vendor can make a difference.
- Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencers.
- Must have the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and a strong team player.
- Fluent English as well as local language
