DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Global Transport Senior Implementation Lead to drive the successful implementation of our ?Transport of Tomorrow? initiative. This strategic role is pivotal in standardizing and implementing operational processes and IT systems across our Transport and LLP operations in over 30 countries, enhancing efficiency, and supporting our Strategy 2030 goals. In this role, you will lead individual Transport of Tomorrow implementations projects in close collaboration with all five regions, define scope, drive daily project management activities, and enable consistent global methodologies and tools. You?ll ensure best practice sharing across deployments and play a key role in executing strategic initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and standardizing implementations across our global transport network.
Your Key Accountabilities Include:
* Enable the successful delivery of large-scale strategic programs and projects in Global Transport by defining, reviewing, and managing scope and governance setups, specifically focused on our Transport of Tomorrow program driving forward our IT transformation and business process standardization.
* Focus on day-to-day project managing of implementations to ensure consistency and efficiency across all regions, acting as key linkage between global, regional, country IT, Transport and operational teams.
* Shape project approaches, timelines, and deliverables to ensure program goals and objectives are achieved.
* Develop and implement efficient reporting and review processes to monitor project performance against targets.
* Provide strategic guidance and direction to (regional) teams regarding project goals and priorities, while regularly reviewing performance and implementing action plans as needed.
What Are We Looking For From You:
* 5+ years of experience in strategic project management, preferably in a consulting environment with a focus on transport
* Proven track record in program and portfolio management, with experience in managing matrix-type project teams across diverse geographical locations.
* Previous working knowledge of supply chain products and services pertaining to road transport and/or IT systems implementations
* Strong analytical, structuring, and problem-solving skills, complemented by excellent presentation abilities (both written and oral)
* Experience in global implementation or transformation projects, with exposure to large, complex matrix organizations; experience in corresponding change management methods advantageous
* Strong influencing skills and experience of managing without authority and demonstrable stakeholder management experience
* A master?s degree in business, Economics, or Engineering, with professional project management certifications (desirable)
* Fluency in English, with international work experience being a significant advantage.
