IMDEA Materials Institute is a public research organization founded in 2007 by Madrid’s regional government to carry out research of excellence in Material Science and Engineering. Description
*
* Prepare and process polymer‑based materials and composites, flame‑retardant formulations; evaluate fire behavior of lithium‑ion battery components and related polymers using standard tests (flammability, heat release, smoke). The work will help safer and more resource‑efficient energy storage, aligned with clean technologies.
* Support for research projects and collaboration with other team members.
* Collection, processing, and reporting of experimental data.
* Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
* Compliance with laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
Education
*
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
* Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
Languages
*
* Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications

* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
* Initiative, flexibility, and problem‑solving skills.
