We are looking for a Sensor Fusion / State Estimation Engineer to join an important Project located in San Sebastián de los Reyes in Hybrid job modality.
What are we looking for?
- An/a Sensor Fusion / State Estimation Engineer, with at least 2years of experience.
- Degree:Technical Engineering
- Work Model:Hybrid
- Work Schedule:9:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Flexible start and end times.
Requirements:
- University Studies, BSc/MSc in Aeronautical Engineering (desirable), Automatic-Control Engineering or similar.
- Experience with autonomous systems.
- Experience with GNC/AOCS systems.
- Strong background in probabilistic estimation, sensor fusion, localization, target tracking, or attitude determination.
- Knowledge of flight mechanics, 6DOF simulation, and numerical methods.
- Experience with real-time operations and real-world datasets (desirable).
- Experience selecting and testing sensors or hardware components (desirable).
- Understanding of the DO-178 software process (desirable).
- Proficient in C / C++.
- English (High level required, written and spoken).
What will your responsibilities be?
- Design, develop, and validate state estimation, sensor fusion and navigation algorithms.
- Prototype, evaluate, and refine algorithms using simulation environments.
- Plan, execute, and support UAS flight-test activities.
- Analyze simulation and flight-test data, delivering high-quality technical reports.
- Derive subsystem requirements and specifications, including sensors and computing platforms.
- Participate in hardware selection for sensors and related subsystems.
- Drive innovation by developing new approaches that enhance product performance.
- Provide advanced customer support, both online and on-site.
- Research and evaluate sensor fusion methods involving IMU, ADS, GNSS, computer vision, and other modalities.
- Contribute to the preparation of SOWs and participate in customer meetings (online and face-to-face).
- Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
