RecruitGibraltar is helping one of our clients who need an experienced bilingual bookkeeper to work remotely on a 30 hours a week basis, however, you will be required to come to the business premises in Sotogrande once a week to meet with the Director and/or other team members.
What will you do as a Bookkeeper?
1. Oversee, run and issue the Client Accounts Management by day 10 of each calendar month. This will include using the various software systems in place to:
a. Reconcile the various bank movements, matching payments to each client addressing any issues that arise.
b. Work with suppliers, residential communities, utilities and similar to ensure all invoices are received promptly to enable them to be included in the monthly accounts.
c. Work with the internal team to ensure that invoices received, match approved quotes for works using the various software in place to support this.
d. Create client invoices and issue monthly statements managing Client Funds as necessary.
e. Work with the company accountants to ensure that all client taxes and fiscal responsibilities are met (non residents taxes, patrimonio, rental income taxes and similar) in an organised and timely manner.
2. Oversee, run and manage the business accounts using the various software systems in place:
a. Provide the company accountants with all documentation as necessary to file the company accounts liaising with them to ensure that all IVA and other taxes are as expected and paid in an organised and timely manner and according to the appropriate timeframes.
b. Manage the cash flow of the company under the direction of the Director of the company.
c. Make payments as required as directed by the Director of the company.
d. Liaison on staff salaries, taxes, social security etc of all company and client staff as directed by the Director of the company.

You will have finance based qualifications that support the many years of experience you have working within small businesses, overseeing and being responsible for the various financial aspects of the company.
You will be comfortable working for a company that provides excellent service standards to a number of high end international clients that demand very high standards of quality, care and attention.
You will be fluent in Spanish (ideally your first language), preferably with a good standard of English.
Salary €1400 to €1600 a month net based on experience.
