App Attribution & Growth Specialist

We're looking for an App Attribution & Growth Specialist — someone who has spent years in mobile UA and, at some point, got pulled into the messy side of things: tracking that didn't match, attribution that didn't make sense, data pipelines that broke at the worst possible time. Instead of ignoring it, you leaned in. You've debugged installs at 2am, questioned MMP logic, checked raw tables in BigQuery, and thought there has to be a better way to do this. Now you’re looking for something different. Not just running campaigns. Not just fixing things alone. You’re looking for a place where you can work on a portfolio of apps, go deeper into how growth actually works under the hood, and be surrounded by people who are as curious and stubborn as you are.

What You'll Do
* Own and improve app attribution & tracking architecture
* Debug issues across the full funnel: click → install → event → revenue
o Click → Install → Event → Revenue
* Ensure clean and consistent data across:
o MMP (ideally AppsFlyer)
o Ad Networks (Meta, TikTok, Google, ASA, programmatic, etc.)
o Data Warehouse (BigQuery / Databricks)
o Product & analytics layer (e.g. Firebase)
* Design and validate postbacks (S2S), event mappings, attribution logic & windows
* Work on Web2App flows: capture parameters on landing pages, stitch into app attribution
* Configure and maintain deep linking / OneLink setups: parameter passing, click_id logic, deferred deep linking
* Collaborate with UA, Product, and Engineering: validate SDK implementations, ensure events are triggered correctly, raise and propose fixes when something breaks
* Work with subscription & monetization data: integrate RevenueCat / Adapty, handle webhook / S2S flows into the warehouse
* Support UA Managers by ensuring data reliability and correct implementation of campaign signals (events, revenue)
Requirements
* Strong UA Background
o 5+ years of paid UA for mobile apps
o Deep knowledge of Google App Campaigns (UAC), Apple Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, AppLovin, Unity Ads, Moloco, Liftoff, Mintegral, Pinterest Ads, affiliate campaigns
* Attribution & Measurement Expertise
o Strong experience with MMPs (ideally AppsFlyer)
o Solid understanding of SKAN & probabilistic attribution, CTA vs VTA, incrementality & attribution trade‑offs
o Know difference between IDFA and IDFV
* Technical & Debugging Skills
o Comfortable debugging missing installs, broken postbacks, data inconsistencies
o Validate data in BigQuery or similar, trace attribution issues across systems, understand identifiers flow
* SQL & Data Skills (Must‑have)
o Solid SQL skills (BigQuery / Databricks or similar)
* Data & Cloud
o Experience with Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Firestore / Cloud Storage
o Comfortable with separate datasets (App & Web2App) and their connections
o Experience with other environments like Databricks is a plus
* Payments, Subscriptions & Flows
o Understand A2A, W2A, A2W, W2W flows and where payment happens
o Know role of RevenueCat / Adapty, Stripe, Superwall
o Map user identifiers across platforms, impact of attribution in flows, common break points
* Product Analytics
o Experience with Amplitude, event tracking & data quality
* Fluent English
o Clear communication with UA, MarTech, and Data teams
* Big Plus
o Experience with Stripe webhooks, codebases, Xcode or Android Studio, own apps, cursor, Claude Code, ASO, organic uplift, CTV exposure
* You'll Probably Enjoy This Role If…
o Understand why MMP events misbehave for tROAS campaigns
o Dealt with quirks of UAC on iOS
o Comfortable reading SDK docs, speaking with developers to change event triggers
o Investigated data mismatches and attribution issues
