The primary mission of the Leisure Analyst is to optimize revenue performance and contribution for the Leisure business by analysing business mix, market competitor map, OTAs performance in rates and VAS, pricing strategies and proposing and implementing necessary corrective actions resulting from the regular analysis and review of product performance.
What You’ll Do
Conduct regular strategic reviews with Director.
Market analysis and competitor canvassing.
Analysis of rental performance / reservation trends.
Propose / review promotions on products.
Ensure consistency between pricing and cost / optimise profitability (logicality by car group).
Design domestic price structure to meet business needs and revenue maximisation.
Liaise with sales support and account management on customer requirements and optimisation of account profitability.
Design, test and implement different rates and products to be offered.
Drill down existing analysis for a more detailed understanding of key profit & cost drivers.
Ad hoc analysis of trends, revenue opportunities and customer behaviour.
Seek ways to constantly improve processes and tools which will enhance pricing capability.
Ensure all product information is accurate in intermediary channels.
What We’re Looking For
Level of Degree at minimum or qualified by comparable experience.
Track record of at least 2 years in an analytical position, preferably in an international company or dealing with international markets.
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and analyse large, complex data streams.
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Experience with Excel (VB level or at minimum pivot / VLOOKUP);
macro recording/editing.
Experience with MS ACCESS or SQL.
Fluent in English.
Responsive to rapidly changing business demands.
Strong involvement with business and drive for success.
Ability to analyse system deficiencies & inaccuracies and devise solutions.
Ability to persuade without formal authority and to push back when appropriate.
Experience in a general business culture and in an international matrix organisation.
Conceptual systems thinking with a pragmatic, results‑oriented approach.
