About the job
We are looking for a People & Culture Manager to lead the P&C function at our manufacturing site. This role plays a critical part in aligning people strategy with business objectives, ensuring compliance with labor legislation, and fostering a high-performance and engaging workplace culture.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and functionally to the Chief People & Culture Officer, you will act as a key member of the leadership team and a strategic partner to the business.
Your Mission
Lead and manage the People & Culture function, ensuring effective implementation of corporate P&C policies, full compliance with Spanish labor legislation, and strong alignment between people priorities and operational goals.
You will drive talent development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness in a dynamic industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Strategic P&C Management
· Act as a strategic business partner to Plant Management and local leadership teams
· Translate corporate HR strategy into local action plans
· Ensure alignment between people objectives and plant operational goals
Labor Relations & Compliance
· Manage relationships with the Works Council and trade unions
· Lead collective bargaining, agreements, and conflict resolution processes
· Ensure compliance with Spanish labor legislation and applicable collective agreements
· Handle disciplinary procedures and employee offboarding processes
· Ensure compliance with internal policies, code of ethics, and corporate compliance standards
· Actively collaborate with Health & Safety and Occupational Risk Prevention areas
Talent Management & Culture
· Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes for plant employees
· Lead performance evaluations, development, and succession planning
· Identify training needs and oversee the annual training plan
· Lead employee engagement and workplace climate initiatives
· Support managers in people management and leadership development
HR Administration & Compensation
· Oversee personnel administration, payroll, and labor-related incidents (in coordination with external providers if applicable)
· Manage compensation, benefits, and salary review policies in line with corporate guidelines.
· Monitor key HR KPIs (turnover, absenteeism, headcount, etc.)
Qualifications
· University degree in Labor Relations, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or similar
· Master’s degree or postgraduate studies in Human Resources preferred.
· 3–5 years of experience as HR Manager or HR Business Partner
· Strong experience in labor relations and union negotiations
· Background in industrial and/or pharmaceutical environments is highly valued
·Fluent in Spanish and English
·Solid knowledge of Office 365
