Controller Industrial (Badalona) role at Michael Page We are looking for a Controller Industrial to join the Accounting & Finance department in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. This role is based in Badalona and requires expertise in auditing, accounting, analytics, and financial modelling, along with proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel/BI tools. Description Financial Planning & Control: Lead the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Supervise project profitability, margin control, and cost allocation across business units and subsidiaries. Ensure alignment between project-level financials and corporate objectives. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular financial reports and KPIs to the CFO and Executive Committee. Deliver accurate financial data and analyses to support decision-making in strategic committees (Digital Transformation, Organization, Executive). Develop analytical dashboards and financial models for performance tracking and scenario planning. Project Controlling: Monitor and control engineering project costs and revenues, ensuring compliance with project budgets and contract terms. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Operations to anticipate deviations and propose corrective actions. Ensure consistency in project accounting and reporting across international subsidiaries. Supervise intercompany project operative and support on transfer pricing decisions. Compliance & Process Improvement: Guarantee compliance with corporate policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements. Support continuous improvement and digitalization of financial processes within the transformation roadmap. Promote best practices in project controlling, cost tracking, and financial governance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Actively participate in the Digital Transformation, Organization, Team development and Executive Committees, providing financial insights and performance data. Partner with HR, IT, Business Unit and Operations to drive efficiency and support decision-making, by ensuring the data quality from different sources: ERP, CRM, Project control sheets… Knowing, managing and applying the Information systems policy and information security policies implemented in the company. Profile Experience/Skills Minimum 8-10 years of experience in financial controlling within engineering or project-based environments. Proven experience in industrial engineering sectors, particularly where the product is the engineering solution (e.g., manufacturing lines, automated equipment, tooling, or industrial systems for OEMs). Strong background in project controlling, cost accounting, and financial analysis in multi-company and international contexts. Technical Skills Auditing, accounting, analytics, reporting, controlling, and financial modelling. Proficiency in ERP systems (NAV, SAP or similar) and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA and Power Query) /BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Excellent command of English; other languages such as Spanish, French, or German are an advantage. Strong analytical mindset and business acumen. Strategic vision combined with operational precision.
