For our office in Altea, we are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Fiscalist to join our Exactly team.
By choosing to join our expanding technical team at Exactly Accountancy, you will become one of our tax specialists, advising clients on complex tax matters, international structures, tax planning opportunities and high-level fiscal advisory projects.
Main responsibilities:
* Providing specialised tax advice to individuals, entrepreneurs and corporate clients.
* Advising on complex Spanish and international tax matters.
* Analysing and interpreting tax legislation, case law and tax authority guidance.
* Designing and reviewing tax-efficient structures while ensuring full compliance.
* Supporting clients with corporate tax, personal income tax and wealth-related taxation.
* Advising international clients on tax residency, cross-border taxation and double tax treaty matters.
* Managing complex expat tax cases, including applications under the Beckham Law regime.
* Conducting technical tax research and preparing written tax opinions and reports.
* Performing tax risk assessments and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
* Supporting clients during tax inspections, audits and information requests from the Spanish Tax Authorities.
* Preparing objections, appeals and technical submissions before tax authorities.
* Acting as a technical reference point for accountants and tax advisors within the organization.
* Contributing to the development of internal tax knowledge, processes and quality standards.
Job requirements:
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax advisory, fiscal consultancy or a similar specialist tax role in Spain.
* Proven experience with SL companies and all types of taxes
* In-depth knowledge of Spanish accounting and fiscal regulations
* Experience with complex personal and corporate tax matters.
* Knowledge of international taxation and cross-border tax structures.
* Experience advising expatriates and high-net-worth individuals is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with the Beckham Law regime and international mobility matters is considered a strong advantage.
* Experience with tax inspections, objections and appeal procedures.
* Strong analytical and research skills.
* Strong communication skills and client-oriented mindset
* Good command of Spanish and English, both spoken and written
* You are based in or willing to relocate to the Altea area (on-site position)
