ICFO is a research center located in the Mediterranean Technology Park in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, and currently hosts 400+ people, including researchers, PhD students and staff personnel. Today, in its area of specialization and category, the institute is consistently ranked among the highest-quality research institutions worldwide.
We are currently looking for a person, to join ICFO with responsibilities equivalent to an Accounting Head, who will join our team, within the Finances Unit, directly reporting to the Finance Head.
The main responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Recording of all financial transactions (income, expenses, purchases, sales).
- Verification of the legality and accuracy of accounting records.
- Accounting for grant income and account management of projects funded by grants. Verification of the correct correlation of expenses and incomes of the projects.
- Verifying, allocating and reconciling payments and receipts.
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Analysing financial information to overview the company’s situation.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related areas.
- Previous experience in accounting positions (3-7 years for senior positions)
- Knowledge of accounting software (SAP)
- Knowledge and experience in the accounting of grants is valued.
