In this role you will drive flight controls and flight management design for military aircraft, UAVs and related programs. You’ll shape system architectures, define interfaces and ensure airworthiness across the product life cycle from development to in-service support. You will work within the FCS&FMS team to deliver compliant, safe and integrated avionics solutions for defence programmes. This position offers impact in shaping high-integrity flight control and management systems for challenging platforms.

• Elaborate systems architectures and assess alternative solutions
• Allocate functions and performance levels to subsystems/equipment
• Prepare systems/subsystems/equipment specifications and validation

Responsabilidades
• >5 years of related work experience
• Aeronautical engineering degree or equivalent 5-year degree in system engineering
• Strong knowledge of flight control systems, autopilot, flight mechanics, avionics and safety
• Control design and model-based tools experience
• Knowledge of systems, software and complex hardware development standards
• Knowledge xpzdshu of aerospace regulations (CS/FAR/STANAG, E/TSO) and standards (DO/ED, ARP, ARINC)
• Teamwork and adaptability
• Proactivity and problem solving
• Good communication skills and English proficiency
• Ability to apply automatic control techniques and sensor data processing for FCS/FMS
• Experience identifying lifecycle activities and defining checkpoints aligned with program gates
• Ability to provide detailed data for architecture models and views
