**ROLE SUMMARY**:
** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum for KS1.-Support and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with English as an additional language.-Create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that supports academic, social and emotional development.-Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to year-group and whole-school initiatives.-Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.-Promote and uphold strong safeguarding practices in line with school policies.-Contribute to the wider life of the school, including pastoral care and enrichment activities.-
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.-Successful experience teaching KS1 and evidence of strong impact on pupil outcomes.-A creative, child-centred approach rooted in Quality First Teaching.-Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum for KS1.-Experience with Pie Corbett’s _Talk 4 Writing_ (desirable but not essential).-Fluency in English with excellent spoken, written and technical language skills.-A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team and school life.-Commitment to pastoral care and to developing the whole child.-A reflective mindset and enthusiasm for professional growth.-High professional standards and adherence to robust safeguarding practices.-Excitement about joining a school rated “outstanding in all areas” under the BSO framework.-
