The company is committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences, supporting sustainable mobility, and driving operational and financial excellence across its network of dealerships.Position OverviewThe Finance Director – Spain will oversee all financial functions, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic decision support across the Spanish operations. This role will be critical in driving profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.The ideal candidate will have deep financial expertise in the automotive or multi-brand retail sector, with strong leadership experience managing finance teams in complex, multi-location operations.Key Responsibilities- Lead the finance function across all Spanish operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.- Provide strategic financial advice to the Managing Director and executive team to support business planning and decision-making.- Oversee P&L management, cost control, and profitability initiatives across dealerships and business units.- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.- Implement robust financial systems, controls, and reporting processes to support operational efficiency.- Manage finance teams, develop talent, and foster a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, insight, and business partnership.- Support capital expenditure planning, dealership expansions, and investment analysis.- Collaborate with Sales, Aftersales, and Marketing leaders to align financial strategy with business objectives.- Monitor key financial KPIs, provide insight on performance trends, and recommend corrective actions as needed.Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.- 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, ideally in automotive, retail, or multi-brand dealership networks .- Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, compliance, and corporate governance.- Experience managing multi-location finance operations, budgeting, and forecasting.- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Fluent in Spanish and English ;
additional European languages are a plus.- Analytical, results-oriented, and strategic thinker with the ability to drive financial performance.
