Introduction
The IBM Sales Accelerator Program within Client Engineering is designed for early career professionals who want to combine technology expertise with client engagement. In this role, you will learn how to work at the intersection of technology and business, helping clients explore innovative solutions through collaborative sessions and rapid prototyping. As part of Client Engineering, you will participate in a structured development journey that builds technical depth, consulting skills, and the ability to guide clients through complex technology decisions. You will collaborate with technical specialists, designers, architects, and sellers to shape solutions across domains such as Data and AI, Automation, and Hybrid Cloud. Through mentorship, real client exposure, and hands‑on learning, the program prepares you to become a trusted advisor who helps clients turn ideas into working solutions.
Your role and responsibilities

- Participate in the Client Engineering learning program to build technical, consulting, and facilitation skills
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and sellers to support solution design and client engagements
- Contribute to client workshops and co‑creation sessions focused on solving real business challenges
- Support development of prototypes and demonstrations using IBM technologies
- Build knowledge across key domains including Data and AI, Automation, and Hybrid Cloud
- Learn from experienced Client Engineering leaders through mentorship and guided client exposure
Required technical and professional expertise

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Recent graduate with up to 12 months of full‑time experience
- Strong interest in technology and client‑facing work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish
Preferred technical and professional experience

- Exposure to areas such as AI, cloud platforms, software engineering, or data technologies
- Programming or technical project experience (coursework, internships, or personal projects)
- Interest in consulting or client solution design
