Computer Vision / Machine Learning Intern
Driblab's team aspires to develop the next‐generation of products that change how millions of users perceive the professional sports world and make decision‐making easier. Our products need to handle information at massive scale, extending well beyond infographics. As a Computer Vision / Machine Learning Intern you will work on a variety of specific projects critical to Driblab's needs, with opportunities to create new projects, pitch ideas to the board, and take ownership of challenges across the whole spectrum.
You will report directly to the Head of Technology and work from our offices in Madrid near Puerta de Toledo. Collaboration will involve Python, machine‐learning technologies, SQL tools, and other core components of our tech stack. Your day‐to‐day work will involve developing new features from day one, improving current features, and contributing to the scalability and innovation of our platform.
Responsibilities
Develop, design, troubleshoot, test, maintain, deploy and improve Driblab projects.
Take ownership of existing projects and new projects to be launched soon.
Verify new and existing data is accurate.
Automate new data ingestion.
Research and check reliability of new data sources.
Pitch new ideas to the CTO about new developments, bugs and such.
Research new developments from key sources as well as competitors to develop new models, products and tools.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Provide ad‐hoc support for Madribble activities when needed.
Qualifications
Background in Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge in Python and libraries such as Numpy, Pandas and Pickle.
Knowledge in Machine Learning: OpenCV and Tensorflow/PyTorch.
Knowledge in SQL.
Knowledge in Git.
Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
Comfortable reading and writing.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or further education or experience in engineering, computer science, mathematics or other technical fields.
Knowledge of CNNs, Siamese Networks, Triplet Networks, Optuna / GridSearch and XGBoost.
Candidates must be studying at an education centre with which Driblab can sign an educational cooperation agreement.
Interest in sports.
Interest to learn new coding languages as needed.
