POSITION
We are looking for a Industrial Purchasing Manager that will join our Corporate Supply Chain Department reporting to the Corporate Purchasing & Logistics Director.
The Industrial Purchasing Specialist will be in charge of the Indirect Purchasing area, purchasing all the capex related with strategic investments, indirect supplies or services involved in the process of acquisition of all products and services needed to complete the projects for the projects.
The range of purchased items is wide, from standardized low value items (ex. office supplies) to complex and costly products, CAPEX, OPEX services or consulting services.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
The position involves the following roles and responsibilities:
* Lead purchase of equipment's, services and supplies. Tender process, analyzing of quotation and negotiation of the Global Frame Agreements with suppliers.
* Analyze categories of spending to determine potential cost savings
* Implement cost reduction programs
* Manage and implement cost-effective supplier management practices
* Identify new ways of working with suppliers
* Management of existing supplier relationships and contracts
* Study the relevant markets, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques
* Review orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance
* Remote or on-site support for factories and on going projects (mostly, factories in ramp up stage), under the supervision of the Indirect Purchasing Manager
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
* 5-7 years of Technical Purchasing experience (Tendering, bidding, negotiation…)
* 2 - 3 years of experience in Team Management
* Bachelor`s Degree in engineering /Business Management is highly valued (depending on the experience in technical purchasing, it could be open to other degrees or trainings).
* Specific knowledge:
a) Commercial terms and conditions applicable in commercial contracts
b) Experience on CAPEX projects.
c) Technical Knowledge in Machinery
* Master's Degree will be highly valued
* Fluent in English and Spanish (at least B2 level in both languages is required)
* Advanced level SAP MM
* Advanced level Excel and Word
* Proactivity, flexibility and teamworking skills are a must.
CONTRACT AND MOBILITY:
* Permanent Contract
* The position is based in our Headquarters in Madrid
* Open to national / international travels (always under Company travel policy)
