International School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography and History Teacher to join our Secondary School team for a maternity cover position starting in September 2026. The successful candidate will teach within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) (History and Geography).

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and educational objectives
* Design assessments and learning activities that support student achievement and progress
* Monitor student learning and provide timely feedback
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
* Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
* Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives
* Participate actively in professional development opportunities and the wider life of the school
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Humanities or a related field within the Arts and Humanities branch of knowledge
* Recognised teaching qualification, including the Master's Degree in Secondary Education (or equivalent teaching certification).
* Previous teaching experience at Secondary level.
* English proficiency at C1 level or equivalent.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
* Experience teaching IB programmes (MYP and/or DP).
* Experience working in international school settings.
