AVATR, a premium intelligent electric vehicle brand, is seeking a Legal Manager to join our Europe Overseas Business Development team at our Madrid subsidiary. Together with the team, you will support AVATR’s expansion in the Spanish market across business development, sales, marketing, aftersales, and network operations.
What you will do:
- Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts (dealership agreements, NDAs, sales contracts, supplier agreements, etc.) to ensure the company’s legal rights and interests are fully protected.
- Compliance Monitoring & Risk Control: Monitor regulatory changes in Spain and the EU (competition law, data protection, consumer rights law, etc.) to ensure all business operations comply with local compliance requirements.
- Corporate Governance & Entity Setup: Support legal matters related to company incorporation, corporate governance, and license/permit applications to ensure lawful business operations.
- Labor Law Support: Assist with employment-related matters such as employee onboarding, labor contract management, and social security registration to ensure labor law compliance.
- Dispute Resolution & External Management: Manage external law firms and assist in handling potential disputes and quality claims, effectively controlling legal costs.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in law; Spanish bar admission preferred.
- 3+ years of legal practice experience; experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or multinational corporate legal department is a plus.
- Expertise in Spanish contract law, corporate law, labor law, and data protection regulations.
- Fluent in English and Spanish as working languages; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
