Your role
You will be the primary IT relationship owner for the Engineering & Technology organization, aligning IT and Digital capabilities with business strategy and priorities, acting as a trusted advisor on technology options, risks, and opportunities to enable business value and competitive advantage. You will act as the liaison between E&T business units and IT, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs and technology capabilities, and you will define, prioritize, and manage a portfolio of IT and Digital initiatives that support E&T goals, including roadmaps, heatmaps, and strategic planning. You will lead requirements gathering and participate in the development of business cases to justify IT investments, promote IT and Digital services and capabilities, and ensure a tangible link between technology delivery and business outcomes. You will oversee and lead medium‑to‑large‑scale IT projects or programs in line with governance and PMO standards, including scope management, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and change management activities to enable adoption of IT‑enabled changes across the business. You will manage financial planning for IT and Digital responsibilities – budgeting, forecast accuracy, and resource capacity planning – while ensuring security, quality, and compliance of delivered solutions through regular reviews and escalations. You will coordinate with global and cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization, and you will promote continuous improvement and digital innovation within E&T, staying current with IT and data trends. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of IT and Digital initiatives within E&T and beyond within GHO, influencing decisions that affect manufacturing operations, product development, and related processes. You will support IT/OT convergence through change management, program coordination, and steering‑committee meetings. You will participate in and facilitate IT/OT programs such as Digital Plant Infrastructure initiatives, securing funding and ensuring alignment with lifecycle management and IT initiatives, while collaborating with site IT Business Partners to ensure proper governance, issue resolution, and escalation pathways.
This position is based in Spain.
Who You Are
* A university degree or equivalent in IT or a related discipline (including data science, data engineering, MIS, analytics, or similar).
* At least 5 years of experience in a large industry role as an IT Business Partner and/or Project Manager.
* General understanding of IT and digital technologies, web development languages, platforms, frameworks, and system integration.
* Proven experience working with OT and Engineering organizations.
* Knowledge of the latest IT and data innovation technologies and a demonstrated curiosity for new technologies and digital trends.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret digital use cases and advise on different technological platforms.
* A track record of leading cross‑functional and multi‑site projects in a sophisticated manufacturing environment, ideally with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
* Excellent change management, negotiation, and stakeholder influence capabilities in a matrix, multi‑cultural organization.
