Leanbio has already worked with over 100 candidates over these years, some already in late clinical stages. Leanbio is expanding its development and manufacturing capabilities with a new GMP site in Barcelona with over 4,000 sqm. and three manufacturing areas: one for mammalian expression systems up to 2000L, another for microbial and yeast up to 1000L, and a third are for mRNA up to 50L.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop MS methods approaches (MS, MS/MS - MRM, SWATH) depending on purpose.
Prepare/propose development plans for glycans full characterisation by MS.
Prepare/propose development plans for glycans full characterisation by MS.
Prepare/propose development plans for HPLC and CE methods.
Write development reports and drafting SOPs.
Train junior scientist in phsyco-chemical analysis.
Supervise analysis performed by junior scientists.
Communicate effectively between departments as part of the in-process control plan of every project.
Actively participate in lab managment tasks (calibration, equipment mantainance).
Actively be part of in-process control strategic analysis (sample prevision) along with process departments (USP and DSP) – if applicable.
Propose new approaches to measure different attributes for protein characterisation.
REQUIREMENTS
BD in Biomedical Sciences or related field.
MD or PhD in Biomedical Sciences or related field will be a plus.
Relevant experience in CRO, CDO, CMO or Biopharmaceutical industry. xpzdshu
Knowledge in mass spectrometry analysis for protein characterisation (peptide mapping, intact mass).
Highly motivated to work in a biotech environment
Able to work in a cross-functional approach
