What will you do?
- Design and specify ground segment systems and subsystems for space missions.
- Manage and generate systems engineering artefacts, including requirements, system architecture, and interface control documentation.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and validation (IVV) activities.
- Apply software development lifecycle practices using tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Read, understand, and interpret UML diagrams and system models.
- Ensure compliance with space industry standards such as CCSDS, PUS, XTCE, and OGC.
- Lead technical aspects of space‑related projects.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and external partners.
- Act as the technical interface with clients, translating operational needs into engineering solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and project follow‑up activities.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience in ground segment engineering, including design and specification of systems and subsystems.
- Experience in requirements engineering, system architecture definition, and interface control documentation.
- Familiarity with system integration, verification, and validation processes.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Ability to read and interpret UML diagrams and system models.
- Working knowledge of space industry standards: CCSDS, PUS, XTCE, and OGC.
- Experience managing technical aspects of space‑related projects.
- Ability to coordinate and monitor subcontractors and external partners.
- Proven experience acting as a technical interface with clients.
- Advanced knowledge of ECSS standards.
- Advanced knowledge of SATCOM systems.
- 2–3 years of experience in product or project engineering roles.
- High level of English proficiency.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
