Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.
The Network Security Operations (NetSecOps) team is seeking two Engineers to support and operate our global network security platforms.
You will be responsible for Level 2 operations on Palo Alto Firewalls, including policy management, NAT, IPSEC tunnels, and related troubleshooting. You will work closely with peer teams to ensure our network remains secure, stable, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls (Security Policies, NAT, IPSEC VPNs, routing, HA).
- Handle network security incidents, service requests, and configuration changes according to security policies.
- Monitor and analyse network events, logs, and traffic to identify and resolve issues.
- Support additional security technologies: Zscaler Proxy, NIPS, VPN, cloud security controls.
- Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance and security awareness.
- Produce clear documentation (incident reports, RCAs, procedures).
Preferred Background
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, CCNA/CCNP, or cloud certifications.
- 5+ years hands‐on experience with Palo Alto Networks in an operational role.
- Strong knowledge of network security fundamentals (firewalls, IPSEC, VPNs, routing basics).
- Experience in operational/incident-driven environments.
Nice‐to‐Have Skills
- Cloud networking and security: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Zscaler, Infoblox DNS/DHCP.
- Automation/IaC: Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting, UIPath.
- Experience with NIPS, proxies, or cloud security tools.
