Role
The Client Solutions Applications Lead is a cross-functional profile with a vision and understanding of the different components and their relationship from a business impact perspective. You will support client relationships and work with account leads and key regional stakeholders to translate client industry business goals to technology outcomes, through the Microsoft platform. You will drive technical-thought leadership with a long-term view for how clients can successfully manage, operate & secure their technology platform. You will stay up to date on emerging technology and how to apply it to clients. Your goal will be to ensure your clients\' most pressing and long-term business challenges are met with Avanade's most relevant industry-led solutions.
Responsibilities
Design and lead the sales strategy for the Cloud Infrastructure area in collaboration with the regional leadership team.
Align initiatives with Microsoft and other strategic partners to ensure an effective joint strategy.
Craft Avanade's value proposition in a way that helps clients understand what makes Avanade different in every proposal.
Represent Avanade in public presentations, industry events, and meetings with C-level clients (CIO, CEO, etc.).
Listen to client needs and translate them into effective, scalable solutions, maximizing the value of client investments.
Build trusting relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor in digital transformation.
Work closely with sales and project teams to build high-impact proposals and estimate effort, teams, and profiles to fit client needs.
Provide pre-sales support, demonstrations, and workshops; drive adoption of Azure solutions.
Provide expertise in modern DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub, pipelines, and related tools; explore AI capabilities to accelerate development lifecycles.
Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
Proven experience in pre-sales, consulting, or commercial leadership roles in infrastructure solutions with deep knowledge of Azure platform, software and frameworks.
Experience in preparing tailored commercial proposals, including estimations and team definitions.
Knowledge of Azure service management and DevOps (Azure DevOps, Pipelines, GitHub, GitHub Actions).
Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
Ability to define commercial strategies and lead their execution.
Strong client orientation, with ability to understand challenges and propose suitable solutions.
Experience working with Azure and a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem.
Languages: Fluent Spanish and English.
Education: University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related areas. Certifications in Azure, cloud architecture, FinOps, or commercial leadership are valued.

Key Performance Indicators
Owned KPIs: Sales target (including cost of sale), cross-selling across solution areas, client experience index.
Shared KPIs: Sales growth in prioritized industries.

Avanade is seeking a professional to lead the Cloud Applications Pre-Sales area for Azure, capable of thriving in complex environments, defining and executing the commercial strategy, acting as a technical and strategic reference for clients, and serving as a trusted advisor within the Avanade ecosystem and for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Go-to-Market : Design and lead the sales strategy for the Cloud Infrastructure area; align initiatives with Microsoft and partners; craft Avanade's value proposition in every proposal.
Client and Partner Relations : Represent Avanade in presentations, events, and executive meetings; translate client needs into scalable solutions; build trusted advisory relationships.
Commercial and Pre-Sales Support : Collaborate with sales and project teams on high-impact proposals; estimate effort and team needs; support demos and workshops; promote Azure adoption.
DevOps and AI in Development Lifecycle : Leverage Azure DevOps, GitHub, pipelines; explore AI capabilities to accelerate delivery; apply AI across the application lifecycle.
Leadership and Culture : Lead by example, develop team skills, foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
