Sales Manager – Growing with Givaudan
As a junior member of our sales organization, you will play a vital supporting role in managing accounts and nurturing customer relationships. You’ll be guided by experienced professionals while taking ownership of projects that challenge you to think proactively, act independently, and bring forward new ideas.
Main Responsibilities
Account & Business Management
* Contribute to Givaudan’s growth by supporting revenue and profitability goals across designated accounts.
* Keep account plans up-to-date — aligning with customer priorities and strategic business objectives.
* Identify opportunities to engage customers through briefs, presentations, and tailored solutions.
* Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, suggesting actions that move our business forward.
* Follow up on brief activity by processing and following up on sample requests, stability requests, offers "and quotations, regulatory documentation, raw material checks, new demand plans, and trial orders".
* Assist in preparing documentation and supporting paperwork throughout the sales process.
* Manage day-to-day communication and service for assigned customer accounts.
* Support customers with product or technical inquiries, collaborating closely with internal experts (technical, R&D, supply chain, quality).
Customer Relationship Management
* Build genuine, trusting relationships with customers — ensuring we deliver value and reliability every time.
* Understand customer needs and follow through with precision and enthusiasm.
* Prepare and present insights and proposals that communicate Givaudan’s value in a compelling way.
Collaboration and Support
* Partner closely with senior colleagues and internal teams (Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain, Customer Care) to deliver seamless service.
* Actively contribute ideas and improvements; show initiative in supporting the team’s goals.

Compliance & Governance

You?
* Education: University degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or equivalent.
* Experience: 5 years of professional experience in commercial; valuable if in Sweet goods and Beverage but not a constraint.
* Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand product applications and formulations.
