In this role you will steer regulatory guidance across EMEA environmental, supply chain, and product regulations. You will partner with Sustainability, Legal, and cross‑functional teams to embed compliance into product design and operations. You will influence policy, engage with regulators and industry groups, and lead training on evolving rules. This position offers the chance to shape Cisco’s environmental compliance program and help secure regional market access with a strategic, impact-driven focus.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Monitor and interpret EMEA environmental sustainability regulations, standards, and directives (e.g., ROHS, REACH, WEEE, PFAS, EPR, ESPR, CSRD, EU Batteries Regulation)
• Drive environmental compliance strategy and develop internal processes, policies, and procedures
• Create and deliver training and updates on regulatory requirements to key stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to incorporate compliance requirements into product design and development
• Partner with Government Affairs to influence existing and evolving regulations
• Engage with industry associations and respond to regulators/enforcement as needed
Responsabilidades xpzdshu
• Qualified lawyer (LLB, JD, or equivalent) in any EU jurisdiction or the UK
• 7+ years' post-qualification experience in sustainability or related regulatory compliance fields
• In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental sustainability regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage
