We are searching for a highly experienced AR Accountant who will perform the AR month end close activities for new integrated North America JBT Marel Entities, establish standard SSC processes, and support the transition of activities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform timely daily area activities (collections, unallocated cash, credit hold on customers/orders, AR sub‑ledger review and clean‑ups).
Guarantee transactions are performed under a strong internal controls framework.
Perform all AR accounting month end close activities, SOX controls, AR reconciliations, month end close reporting packages, and work closely with G/L to provide needed AR information for financial submissions.
Build and deliver the required reporting package to the different Business Units and Management in Europe and the US.
Follow an everyday approach of continuous improvement in everyday work.
Guide the assigned team to achieve the goals established for the AR team.
Support AR management with experience and ideas to increase efficiency of the JBT AR processes.
Manage all credit management area (credit holds, credit analysis, order releases).
Report daily, weekly, monthly to JBT internal teams.
Perform collections activities, month end close accounting and reporting activities, contact internal and external customers to clean pending unallocated cash.
Generate and review AR aging to ensure sub‑ledger is clean.
Manage AR audits, either internal, external, or SOX reviews, and KPIs delivery and analysis.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent work experience required.
1+ years of experience in a finance environment working with Excel and performing accounting activities (month end close, reconciliations, billing).
Experience with Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems.
Fluent in English; Spanish and other European languages a plus.
Location & Mobility
Position based in Madrid (SanFernandodeHenares). Limited travelling within the European Union or USA may be required.
