Data Analyst & Logistics Application Advisor at Quest General
Key Responsibilities
Transport Management Software advisory
Maintain detailed knowledge of tailor‑made transport management system (RenTM) – features, structure, principles, links, interfaces
Track application bugs with software developer, drive solutions, first‑level support for RenTM users in Europe
Organize and lead RenTM trainings for new users (internal, external) and refresher sessions
Assess RenTM server structure performance, identify and resolve performance issues
Attend ongoing RenTM application developments in liaison with Program Manager, business contacts and software developer; ensure system changes are properly scoped (requirement defined)
Raise performance issues in ServiceNow, participate in SIT and lead UAT session for new developments
Support business process translation into system requirements
Data Analytics
Gather, process and maintain relevant Outbound Logistics data (focus: time, costs, quality level)
Create and maintain data queries manually, and within RenTM and ERP applications (Oracle, Unifier, Tableau)
Regularly report data analyses and KPI dashboard maintenance to logistics and project management
Automate data analytics within existing software environment
Re‑examine current practices considering changing business environment, parameters and requirements
Work Experience
Relevant work experience in software application advisory, preferably transport management systems
Experience with Smartsheet, Excel (Power Query)
Relevant work experience in data mining and operations data analytics, preferably logistics data
Work experience in business process management and development for measuring processes
University degree in information technologies, logistics or related subject
Proficiency in ERP operations, preferably Oracle applications to gather and analyze data
Clear thinking mindset to understand complex context and act adequately
Self‑confident and persistent traits to train users and fix software bugs
High communication skills to work with global, cross‑functional teams (internal, external)
Expertise in virtual communication (Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business) for trainings and support sessions
Proven presentation and coaching skills for training sessions
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize diverse tasks and meet hard deadlines
Fluent verbal and written skills in English, and German or Spanish
