JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a Controller to join our team in Barcelona to support financial reporting, budgeting, and controlling activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial information for decision-making.
RESPONSABILITIES
Financial Management & Reporting
* Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting systems.
* Deliver timely management reports and financial analysis to senior leadership.
Budgeting & Forecasting
* Participate in the preparation of annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
* Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
* Support strategic planning with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 2-3 years of progressive finance/controlling experience.
* Previous experience as Controller
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
* Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
