The Geotechincal Engineer will be responsible for ground investigation analysis, foundation design review, soil improvement techniques, and follow-up of geotechnical performance during execution.
Analyze geotechnical investigations and reports to provide design recommendations for foundations, embankments, retaining structures, dredging, rockfill, and soil improvement.
Supervise or coordinate in-situ testing campaigns (SPT, CPT, pressure meter, etc.) and lab testing programs.
Collaborate with design teams and construction teams to ensure constructability and ground behavior are considered in planning and sequencing.
Monitor ground behavior during construction (settlements, pore pressure, slope stability) and propose mitigation measures when necessary.
Civil Engineer with specialization (MSc or equivalent) in Geotechnical Engineering.
~8+ years of experience in geotechnical design and/or site implementation, ideally in marine or linear infrastructure projects.
~ Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, Settle3, GeoStudio, or similar).
~ Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to translate ground data into clear recommendations for construction teams.
~ Previous experience in international or remote projects is highly desirable.
~ Willingness to work full-time on site in a remote location, with potential rotation.
