POur client, a prestigious and well regarded British School, is seeking a highly organised Bilingual Personal Assistant to support the Headmaster of the Senior school (Years 9-13). This role requires dedicated support across a key period for the school of iGCSE, A Level and University application years. /ppbr/pulliManage the Headmaster of the Senior School’s (Years 9–13) busy calendar, coordinating meetings, appointments and wider school events and commitments /liliCoordinate meeting logistics, including room bookings, hospitality and relevant paperwork /liliAct as a key point of contact between the Headmaster, staff, parents, departments and external stakeholders. Gatekeeping to ensure Headmaster’s time is best spent /liliManage written, email, and telephone enquiries, responding directly where appropriate and prioritise urgent matters effectively /liliTake accurate meeting minutes, and follow up on agreed actions /liliProvide support for inspection preparation, ensuring all paperwork in order /liliProvide administrative and coordination support across a range of operational and school wide initiatives, including staff induction, appraisals, co curricular activities, school trips, and events /liliSupport the organisation and delivery of school events including Parents’ Evenings, Open Days, and Information Evenings, including logistics, registration, and front of house coordination /liliPrepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations /liliMaintain accurate records, ensuring documentation and filing systems are organised and up to date /liliMonitor progress and deadlines, ensuring timely follow up where required /liliLiaise closely with wider teams including Finance, HR, and Operations to support the smooth running of administrative processes and wider school activities /liliUse initiative to resolve routine matters independently, escalating where appropriate /liliSupport critical incident planning and maintain accurate records /liliDemonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection, ensuring all concerns are reported in line with school policy /liliDemonstrate tact as this individual will be privy to sensitive information /li /ulpbr/ppThe successful candidate will speak a native or near native level of English (Spanish not essential but preferred). Previous experience or exposure to the British education system iGCSE, A Levels and University applications (ideally in an independent senior school) is a prerequisite for this position. Solid Tech capability required (Mac and project management systems, previous user use of iSams preferable). AI literacy (or at least curiosity) favourable to improve workflows. /ppThe chosen will be proactive, tactful, personable and of sound judgement.
