About the role:
· Conduct fund analysis, including quantitative and qualitative components on different structures which may include UCITS fund, hedge funds ...etc
· Review all DDQs and supporting documentation for managers (financial statements, ADV, valuation policy, compliance manuals, DDQ's, service provider agreements, risk reports and other relevant documents.)
· Evaluate the different aspects contributing to the performance of the fund : team, investment process, ESG in order to create a clear assessment o the fund characteristics
· Assess operational infrastructure and identify key risks, documenting findings in a written report.
· Interact with internal teams as appropriate, including Investment Due Diligence, Product Management, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Sales.
· Write up detailed fund reports following all documentation analysis and reviewing relevant fund documents.
· Remain abreast of industry trends, regulatory matters, and market events affecting funds, managers, clients, and the industry.
About you
* Degree in Finance or related field. Advanced degrees or professional designation such as MBA, CAIA, CPA or CFA is strongly preferred.
* Good academic background.
* Fluent/native speaker of English.
* Spanish and Italian also valuable.
* At least 6 industry experience.
* Detailed knowledge of mutual fund industry, product structures, and underlying investment securities.
* Excellent analytical and writing skills.
