The T&D department has signed a framework agreement with TenneT. As part of the work considered within this framework agreement, TenneT has reported its intention to sign several new projects with Acciona.
After the resignation of the current HSE Manager the incorporation of a new HSE Manager in the team is required from November 2025.
The location will be at Acciona NL Headquarters office in Duiven.
Mission
Coordinate, schedule and implement the projects he/she leads within his/her operating area, based on established standards and procedures, developing suitable solutions to errors in approach and specific issues of each situation/internal client.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all operations are carried out safely and with consideration of environmental protection, promoting a positive safety and environmental culture.
* Ensure the project complies with all legislation, statutory and industry obligations related to plant and equipment use and workplace activities.
* Advise the Project Director of all incidents reportable under the company’s recordable incident guidelines and R.I.D.D.O.R. in a timely manner.
* Liaise with the Site Facilities Manager to ensure all health and safety related equipment, such as fire safety equipment, PPE, first aid supplies, are available on site and maintained as required.
* Ensure compliance with and expert understanding of CDM regulations.
* Design and deliver health & safety training at ACCIONA and site levels to manage, monitor and improve health & safety standards.
* Actively seek to achieve zero incidents, but where required, lead accident and near‑miss investigations and record findings.
* Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement changes where relevant.
* Conduct risk assessments to ensure safety and health hazards are prevented, eliminated or corrected as required.
* Coordinate, schedule and implement the projects within the operating area, developing suitable solutions to approach errors and specific issues of each situation/internal client.
* Represent the company in external discussions regarding safety and health matters and advise on best practices.
Academic Background
* University Degree in Engineering.
* Additional training in Transmission & Distribution construction projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Profile
* Minimum of 5 years in similar positions.
Languages
* High level of English.
* Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish will be an asset.
Additional Knowledge
* Experience with High‑Voltage Electrical Substation projects in the Netherlands is a plus, but not mandatory.
