In this Cloud Technical Lead role, you guide hosted and remotely managed SAS environments, collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure dependable, high-quality cloud services. You provide leadership and hands-on support from initial implementation to production release, helping to navigate complex changes and incidents. You work with global teams to share knowledge, improve automation, and sustain service quality. You drive continuous improvement, security, and operational excellence across cloud deployments. This position offers meaningful impact on SAS cloud delivery and customer success.

• Lead hosted and remotely managed customer projects from kickoff to go-live
• Provide expert consultation for post-deployment changes such as upgrades and migrations
• Define and validate technical requirements to ensure stability and adherence to SAS Cloud standards
• Act as SAS Administrator for high-complexity tasks, manage container-based apps, develop SAS/third-party tooling
• Apply IT Service Management best practices for change, incident, and problem management; maintain runbooks and knowledge base
• Ensure exceptional customer service and coordinate with support teams and vendors
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and mentor team members on key technologies
• Ensure compliance with security policies to support secure software development goals
• Collaborate with global R&D, Product, Technical Support, and CIS teams to maintain satisfaction and service quality
• Lead initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and automation in service delivery
• Embrace continuous improvement and proactive mindset
Responsabilidades
• Experience writing programs in more than one language
• Two years of end-user xpzdshu and system administrator consulting or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent)
• Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Right to work in Spain (proof required)
• Experience in SAS Administration or support
• Experience in AWS and/or Azure
• Experience in Kubernetes
• Experience in enterprise class software/hardware support or training
• Experience with UNIX/Linux for enterprise apps
• Experience managing customer expectations and large cloud IT systems
• Equivalent mix of education, training, and experience
