The purpose of the role
Leading Supply Chain for the Southern Business Unit being responsible supporting the network of delivering products across the entire supply chain, from raw materials to end customers by engage in the design, planning, execution, control, and supervision of supply chain activities with the objectives of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, synchronizing supply with demand developing and maintaining good relationships with 3rd parties and measuring performance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary. Managing the Supply chain team that includes Scheduling, procurement, and logistics.
- Directs and coordinates Business Unit supply chain functions through values, strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
- Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
- Plans, manages, and collaborates in all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
- Anticipate, monitor, and provide relevant processes and upcoming changes on supply chain escalations and opportunities on the horizon.
- Define supply chain processes and implement jointly with the EU SC CoE (Supply Chain Center of Excellence team)
- Demand Management. Understanding the exit demand, quantity, due date, certainty and priority of an organization’s product.
- Ensure co-manufacturing, external warehousing, transport planning, import & export and Sales & Operations planning are being executed in SE, in close cooperation with the EU SC CoE
- Monitor forecasts to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties.
- Works with key stakeholders to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
- Works directly with the sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
- Support proper utilization of ERP system.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor of Industrial Organization or similar
- Lean manufacturing knowledge is an asset
- 5 years of experience in managing Supply Chain or Operations departments.
- Strong and professional approach. To take responsibility for all issues related to the position in such a way that the person is respected in their duties. Continuously strives to improve their output and achieved results.
- Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems.
- Leads their team and influences other teams to reach business objectives.
- Good coaching and communication skills.
- Solid analytical skills. Ability to analyze problems and complex situations in a structured manner and to coordinate actions between different functions/departments in order to reach the desired result.
- Ethics. Treats people with respect. Keeps commitments. Works with integrity and ethically. Upholds organizational values.
- Should be able to work under pressure. They also need to be able to prioritize workload as appropriate.
