Description
You will be part of a team supporting all Linux/Unix users. As part of the Industrial Workplace Linux Team, you will manage all Linux needs (computers, servers, applications) while being fully integrated with the overall corporate landscape (Active Directory, PKI, Network, Encryption, Security tools).
Responsibilities
* Manage the lifecycle of Linux computers, servers, and applications from request to decommission.
* Define and prepare detailed setups for Linux computers, servers, and applications.
* Install and support Linux computers, servers, and applications.
* Ensure good delivery through defined processes of the devices.
* Manage the Foreman MDM (edit, create, remove masters, environments, puppet modules, Ansible playbooks, Foreman upgrade).
* Propose continuous improvement on performance based on data and event analysis.
* Support Product Managers to monitor their performance.
* Create and update documentation for team members.
* Resolve complex incidents (hardware, network, drivers, kernel, application).
* Continuously monitor the Linux ecosystem for new technologies.
Qualifications
* Experience in a large enterprise environment.
* Experience working with partners and subcontractors.
* Good knowledge of Linux system administration (Debian, Redhat, CentOS) and scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby).
* Experience or good knowledge in MDM tools such as Foreman, Katello, Puppet, Ansible, automated deployments, updates, and environment administration.
* Good knowledge of version control software, iPXE, and encryption tools.
* Global knowledge in networking, Active Directory, LDAP, NIS, PKI, and virtualization.
* Autonomy within a good team spirit.
* Good knowledge of incident and change management based on ITIL principles.
* Ability to solve complex issues and design solutions.
* Active listening skills with team and customers.
* Open‑mind, self‑aware, transparent and welcome feedback.
* Ability to work collectively, respecting Airbus values and seeking empowerment.
