FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for electric vehicle charger software.
Perform functional, integration, and system testing on charger firmware and other software components.
Validate communication protocols used in EV charging, such as OCPP, ISO 15118, and Modbus.
Verify interactions between the charger, backend systems, and vehicles.
Identify, document, and track software bugs or issues.
Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve problems.
Contribute to the development of test automation tools and processes.
Prepare technical reports summarizing validation results.
Support continuous improvement of testing processes and technical documentation.
REQUIREMENTS At least 2 years of experience in software testing or QA.
Experience in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
Familiarity with COMEMSO, Vector tools (CANoe), CAPL, and HILS.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and debugging processes.
Knowledge of network communication protocols.
Experience with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar).
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment (hardware + software).
