Structural and Mechanical Engineer – Global Asset Management

APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal management and part of the A.Moller-Maersk Group, is seeking a Structural and Mechanical Engineer to join our Global Asset Management team. Responsibilities:
1. Conduct inspections and QA/QC activities on STS, RTG, RMG, MHC cranes, and other terminal equipment.
2. Ensure compliance with structural and mechanical standards during manufacturing, assembly, erection, and repair.
3. Manage on-site project execution, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
4. Work globally with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Vocational/technical education or Bachelor’s degree in structural, mechanical, or hydraulic engineering.
* 5–10 years of experience in steel fabrication, welding, mechanical/hydraulic installation, and equipment maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of structural and mechanical systems, ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency in MS Office.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory); Portuguese is a plus.
Certification: NDT certification (AWS, ISO 9712, or equivalent) is mandatory.
