Your goal will be to plan, collaborate, design, and deliver a unique public-facing experience for some of the world’s largest hospitality companies and resorts by delivering modern, intuitive, and user-friendly designs. A strong portfolio of successful UI/UX projects for websites, web apps, and mobile apps is essential. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing, design team, and IT departments to understand industry needs and solve fun, complex problems faced by a variety of end-users from C-suite executives to ground-level operators. We are looking for self-motivated people that love what they do, because we love what we do. **ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Design website prototypes from concept to launch, working with clients to deliver a top-tier experience. - Actively improve upon existing features, user interactions, test and improve new concepts and build engaging prototypes by using the latest in front-end technologies. - Collaborate with designers and product managers to bring product ideas to life. - Design and prepare flowcharts, storyboards, branding guidelines and UI Kits. - Work with the creative director to build websites for clients as well as construct new, innovative and efficient user experiences. - Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with the internal team and customers. - Communicate design ideas at every stage of the development process to various departments. - Stay current with competitor products and industry trends. Office hours are Monday through Friday; where you will work alongside the creative director for brainstorming, collaboration, project meetings, and overall planning. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** - 3-5 years of experience in web design, UI/UX or design-related fields - Experience with rapid prototyping, with an emphasis on usability and interaction - Proficient with modern web design software (ex: Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, etc.) - Experience in managing or leading commercial design projects - Knowledge in design fundamentals, typography, color theory, use of white-space, and user experience/flow - Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture - Experience prototyping for both desktop and mobile platforms - Strong product sense and understanding - Care deeply about the user experience - Fluent in English -- communication in regular meetings is a must - Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript is a plus - Knowledge of WordPress is a plus Please provide a portfolio of work - online is recommended **ABOUT US** Ignite Media is a full-service creative agency based in Las Vegas, NV, USA.
