* Responsible for the accurate preparation of the financial accounts (including the P&L statement and the balance sheet) and management accounts reporting, which should be produced in a timely manner to meet group reporting requirements/group accounting policies. Reporting to be produced and submitted in line with Krones AG requirements, submission of BPC/PCA etc.
* Ensure ledgers are accurately maintained and regular balance sheet reconciliations are performed and reviewed with any discrepancies resolved in a timely manner.
* Responsible for ensuring invoicing is performed in a timely manner and work in progress level meets or exceeds KPI target.
* Responsible for leading/co‑ordinating the forecast and planning process (in conjunction with corporate functions/guidelines/deadlines).
* Responsible for ensuring Krones Iberica complies to tax regulations and local legislation. Ensure regulatory reporting is submitted in line with regulatory deadlines.
* Responsible for the annual audit process (balance sheets, tax, etc.) in cooperation with Krones Iberica appointed auditors. Responsible for reviewing the Statutory Accounts prepared by the auditors. Ensure they are submitted in line with legal requirements.
* Responsible for general purchasing ensuring it is performed in line with group purchasing policy and the supplier code of conduct.
* Working with sales & service colleagues ensure Krones Iberica projects are commercially successful and delivered in line with budget. Deviations must be reported to the Board of Directors. Responsible for ensuring accurate project provisions are calculated on a monthly basis and provisions are calculated in line with accounting guidelines.
* Responsible for Krones Iberica financial performance. Create and present reporting to the Board of Directors & Senior Management on a monthly basis.
* Lead and provide guidance and support to your direct reports, perform regular 1:1, appraisals and manage performance. Perform performance reviews, investigations, disciplinaries as and when required.
* Development of KPI’s and business planning for the finance in conjunction with the Directors, to ensure that appropriate measurements and follow up actions are made.
* Qualified Accountant CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. 10 years PQE.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership skills to promote team spirit and increase engagement.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
