Head of expansion (barcelona)

**Your mission**:
What you’ll be doing

This role will be as big as you want it to be and driven by as much as you can take onboard in terms of scope. We’re a young company and the value added that each of us needs to bring to the table is huge, but the broad definition of the role will be to 1) analyze expansion markets 2) conduct due diligence on prioritized markets 3) define the GTM strategy 4) be responsible for launching new markets from scratch. You will have 100% ownership and accountability of every aspect of the business in new expansion markets. More specifically you will be responsible for the following:

- Go-to-Market execution: Develop and implement the strategy for launching and scaling Livo in new markets.
- Business development: Identify, negotiate, and close deals with healthcare institutions worldwide.
- Customer success: Onboard and manage customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Healthcare professional acquisition: Work with marketing to grow the nurse workforce on our platform through marketing campaigns, partnerships, and paid media.
- Operational excellence: Oversee daily marketplace operations to ensure seamless experiences for institutions and nurses.
- Team leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, country launchers, and general managers
- Relentless networker: Serve as the face of Livo in new markets, building relationships with industry leaders and decision-makers.
- Data-driven decision making: Analyze business performance and provide strategic insights to the founders.
- Collaboration with the leadership team: Work closely with functional teams and founders to leverage best practices, tools, and resources.
- Financial accountability: Own the P&L;, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability across multiple regions.

**This is a highly hands-on role**: you won’t be just building the strategy—you’ll be out there executing it. From jumping on a plane to visit a potential partner hospital, to sitting down with new hires in a new city, to personally closing the first deals in a country—you'll be in the trenches. **Willingness to travel frequently and roll up your sleeves is essential**.

**Your profile**:
We’re looking for an outlier, somebody that is looking for a lifetime opportunity to shape an entire nascent industry from the business standpoint, starting with our international expansion. The one attribute that should stand out above everything else is sheer determination; the person we’re looking for will not stop at any obstacle, but just go above and beyond to find solutions, execute, and get stuff done with limited resources (time and capital). The rest of attributes and requirements we’re looking for are as follows (even though none of them are equally as important as being a true executor):

- A proven leader: 7-10+ years of experience in B2B sales, GM, or GTM/startup launcher roles.
- Results-driven: an owner and a natural executor with a strong bias for action and a focus on achieving ambitious targets.
- A persuasive communicator: Excellent negotiation and sales skills, capable of influencing key stakeholders.
- A quick decision-maker: Ability to make data-informed decisions efficiently, even in fast-paced environments.
- A team player: Values collaboration, puts team success above personal achievements, and thrives in a startup culture.
- Analytically minded: Background in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
- Industry-savvy: Prior experience in healthcare, consulting, investment banking, or an existing healthcare network is highly desirable.
- Experienced in team management: Has successfully led and scaled teams of 5+ members.
- Multilingual: Proficiency in English and Spanish is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Passionate about healthcare & tech: Deeply interested in revolutionizing the healthcare sector through technology.
