As Delivery Manager for the DLR project in London (Beckton), you drive the successful delivery of project activities by coordinating internal and external stakeholders to meet programme objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee inspections, and ensure trains are delivered to the agreed standard for passenger service. The role blends operations, project delivery, and safety culture within CAF’s collaborative environment, with a clear emphasis on customer acceptance and quality assurance. This is a hands-on leadership position in a dynamic, safety-focused setting that seeks to expand CAF’s presence in the UK rail sector.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet contractual objectives and maintain depot operations
• Lead a team of 4-6 operators; monitor performance and production schedules
• Manage inspections and ensure trains are ready for passenger service
• Monitor material delivery, NCRs, shortages, and modifications to support project progress
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and company policies
• Develop lean methods and coordinate training/competency for depot assets
• Support other departments and adapt to business needs
• Manage depot assets and safety controls to maintain operational condition
• Contribute to daily planning and testing to achieve customer acceptance
Responsabilidades
• Railway experience in Operations or Project delivery
• Intermediate Spanish language skills
• Degree level education in a relevant field or significant proven experience
• Competencies in customer service, decisiveness, change leadership, talent development, safety, performance management, communication, integrity
