The roles & responsibilities of this Managing Director- Spain role:
- Define and deliver the spanish market strategy aligned with general growth plans.
- Identify and develop high-value opportunities across retail, logistics, supply chain, and partnerships.
- Lead market analysis and competitive positioning to grow eCommerce presence.
- Drive revenue growth through brand, merchant, and supplier partnerships.
- Own budgets, forecasting, and P&L; performance for Spain.
- Drive profitability, investment planning, and capital allocation.
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Represent the business in external stakeholder and government engagements.
The qualifications of this Managing Director- Spain role:
- Ideally having experience in eCommerce, Retail, marketplace or technology-enabled businesses.
- Has operated at a Senior leadership level or MD, Commercial, Trading Director, or Country Leadership level.
- Has strong B2C / eCommerce or trading experience within retail FMCG or general merchandise environments.
- Has a proven track record within scale-up or high-growth tech businesses.
- Has experience delivering commercial growth across spain or wider Europe.
- Is fluent in Spanish and English.
