Sustainability is bigger than just the environment and carbon, with social and corporate governance part of the ESG tri-factor, out tooling ensures to cover all facets, giving well rounded analysis.*The Role*As a ML Ops Engineer in the Greener Data team at Elastacloud, you’ll be working in our dedicated multidiscipline Sustainability product team. Working with a team passionate about having a positive impact through software, you’ll be building solutions that give our customers true insights and recommendations in their sustainability journeys.*Role Responsibilities: *- Working within a multidiscipline agile team- Ensuring code is tested and robust- Thought leadership on new designs- Storyboarding new features- Building and maintaining smoke tests- Identifying and assessing new and emerging technologies- Knowledge transfer to the Business-as-Usual team- Define and implement best practices for development, experimentation, collaboration, deployment and monitoring of ML models in accordance with our objectives and priorities- Turn data into actionable insights and present findings and recommendations back to the business- Take ownership to develop and maintain scalable and production code on Azure of new features- Communicate results and influence key business leaders- Create high-quality and engaging data visualisations that effectively communicate your findings- Explore and suggest new tools and methods to achieve maximal efficiency in data collection, processing and analysis- Help drive optimization, testing, and tooling to improve the quality of the ML deliverables- Identify opportunities to optimise our Sustainability Solutions- Play an active role in technical ownership, training and recruitment**Person Specification**:- Experience building and maintain CI/CD pipelines- Strong verbal and written English- Contribute to the wider team by pushing ideas and innovation- Team player- Independent thinking- Experience using Microsoft Azure- You are an experienced data scientist with several years' worth of experience- You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written form. You can make an analytical argument, and you can present complex data in an understandable way- You are an avid learner and continuously improve yourself and your work. You actively help, give feedback and act upon the feedback you receive- You are an expert in Python and have used this on the cloud- Ambitious, self-motivated and enthusiastic- Statistics, e.G. Bayesian, A/B testing- Predictive Modelling- Natural Language processing- Geospatial analysis- Use of source control technologies such as Git/Github- Experience or an understanding of lifecycle processes (e.G.
