With a team of 5,000 employees, we provide €1.6bn energy storage solutions and services to customers worldwide, every year. /ppbr/ppbAbout the job: /b /ppbr/ppFor our growing division Automotive in Azuqueca de Henares (Spain) at the earliest possible date we are looking for a: bDesign Engineer /b /ppbr/ppReporting to the Program Manager your mission will be to lead project development related to new products and technical modifications of existing products. /p pbr/ppbWhat will your daily responsibilities include in this role? /b /ppbr/pulli Prepare technical drawing documentation and batteries component specifications. /lili Make calculations related to processes control parameters to build the product respecting customer requirements. /lili Redesign the current batteries and calculate the ratios from Exide batteries or from competition. /lili Search, request samples and testing of new components and materials according product design, contacting suppliers. /lili Engineering management of Design BOM components and part numbers /lili Plan, Organize and follow up prototypes and / or presets. /lili Participation on homologation of component/materials and product/suppliers. /lili Participation in working group projects such as FMEA, 8D, continuous improvement activities, etc /lili Participation in internal and external Audits. /lili Work in the development of battery designs including raw materials and components /lili Support execution of development roadmaps for product lines, including management of individual projects included in the respective product line roadmap /liliBe part of development teams for homologation projects to meet project goals /liliCapture and facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across plants /liliEnsure alignment with local goals and requirements; support local teams to follow safe launch methodology /liliCollaboration in initiatives to improve performance and quality of advanced batteries in partnership with regional and local operations, quality and engineering functions /liliParticipate and support annual costs saving initiatives concerning product and process /liliParticipate and support standardization and roll out of design features, measurement methods processes for AGM and/or Flooded batteries /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbr/ppbWhat we ask for: /b /ppbr/pulliIndustrial Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering) /liliExperience in industrial environment, not need battery experience but e with experience in plant / operations.
