The Role and Candidate
We are looking for a naturally confident Store Manager to lead the opening of our new store in the heart of Madrid. This role is ideal for someone with experience in retail or luxury fashion, who thrives on building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will take full ownership of the store launch, from staff recruitment and pre-opening preparation to daily operations and sales performance, shaping the store culture from day one.
Responsibilities
Support the area manager in daily activities by actively contributing to the design of the store's commercial and HR strategy
Manage your shop comprehensively
Plan, implement, and monitor measures necessary to achieve and exceed sales objectives
Ensure and collaborate in the implementation of merchandising standards and optimize sales space to maximize profitability
Manage the warehouse by maintaining correct stock levels in compliance with product replenishment cycles and merchandising strategies
Possess good product and fashion knowledge
Know and apply brand and seasonal visual merchandising standards
Supervise customer reception, ensuring it aligns with POP MART guidelines
Coordinate commercial and organizational activities for your store (animations, events, new launches, CRM campaigns)
Train new team members and support their growth and development
Act as a role model and promote effective communication within the sales team
Monitor team performance (KPIs and achievement of personal and store objectives) and motivate to achieve results
Analyze and animate KPIs related to customer behavior (entrances, average receipt, pieces per receipt, etc.)
Ensure department (budget and target) achievement
Apply company procedures (regulations, safety procedures) and commercial policies (prices, promotions, communication)
Required Qualifications & Experience
Citizenship or Work Permit required
At least 5-8 years of experience in similar roles (Assistant Store Manager, Team Leader, Supervisor, Key Holder), preferably in dynamic multinational retail or luxury fashion contexts
Knowledge of main trade KPIs, confidence in budget management, analysis, and daily reports
Agility, dynamism, and problem-solving skills
Strong results orientation
High predisposition for team management, guiding teams towards objectives, and creating a positive team spirit
Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred
Excellent command of Spanish and English
Strong knowledge of Excel
Desirable (Not Essential) Knowledge
Knowledge of CEGID
