Currently we are looking for Electrical Commissioning Specialist to join us in Spain
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop QA/QC documents for the Vendor OSM equipment and the onsite utility equipment
Participate in QA/QC walks to ensure equipment been constructed is to the required quality and specification standards required.
Support complete commissioning and performance acceptance testing of the electrical infrastructure systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations throughout the commissioning process.
Participate in Functional performance testing (FPT) of client electrical systems.
Responsible for ensuring installation complies with local codes and national standards.
Conduct facility walk downs, turnover, and punch list reviews.
Job Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in similar commissioning roles for major high-tech construction projects.
Trade Qualified
Knowledge of data centre operations and infrastructure.
Good knowledge of Data centre Commissioning (levels 0-6).
Able to communicate verbally, electronically and written to convey information in an effective manner.
Understand equipment and systems, Electrical schematics, specifications and drawings and be able to identify field discrepancies for resolution.
Knowledge of MV and LV switchgear, Transformers, ATS, UPS etc
Knowledge of electrical trend analysis
Understanding the sequence of construction and commissioning activities.
Strong knowledge is required in the following areas: local and national codes; construction drawings/symbols; acceptable industry standard/practices.
Strong experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Authorities
Stop any unsafe acts on site.
